Cobram Roar Football Club was created in late 2014 from the merger of the two Cobram based clubs - Cobram Soccer Club and Cobram Victory FC. Cobram Soccer Club was one of the oldest soccer clubs in country Victoria having formed in 1952 and with over 60 years of history.

In 2016 Cobram Roar joined the Albury-Wodonga Football Association and has continued to be a force within the league since.
